I. Introduction
The candle filter system can adopt a comprehensive test plan to determine relevant design parameters based on customer application
scenarios, surpassing advanced technologies both domestically and internationally. Our company has developed this new type of equipment
by summarizing applications in many industrial processes. The filtration system can also use auxiliary filter aids. By selecting suitable-density
filter cloth and appropriate-sized filter aids (diatomaceous earth), it can filter out various fine particles in the liquid. The filter adopts a one-for-
one backup, ensuring continuous filtration.
II. Residual Liquid Filtration
When the liquid level of the residual liquid in the filter tank is lower than the bottom of the filter cartridge component, a pump is used to lift
the remaining liquid to the top of the filter tank. It is sprayed onto the filter cake through nozzles. Under the squeeze of compressed gas, the
solution permeates the filter cake, and each batch of the solution undergoes complete filtration and purification. Compared to traditional candle
filter systems, this design completely solves the problem of residual liquid waste, fully squeezes the filter cake, and increases the recovery rate
of the solution. This design structure can also be used for the washing cake process, spraying relevant solvents on the squeezed filter cake to
leach valuable solutes from the filter cake.

III. Application Areas
During filtration, a certain amount of filter aid (diatomaceous earth) is added to the filter liquid tank. The filter liquid in the tank is filtered in a
loop between the tank and the filter through a pump. A filter layer of a certain thickness gradually forms on the outer layer of the filter cloth due
to the filter aid. To switch, the liquid to be filtered enters the filter, and after the impurities are filtered and intercepted by the filter aid, the filtered
liquid enters the clear liquid tank. As the filtration progresses, when the impurity filter cake becomes thicker and the filtration resistance
increases, it is necessary to backwash the filter element. Close the inlet and outlet of the liquid, and introduce compressed gas into the filter
tank to pressurize the liquid in the filter tank. When backwashing the filter column, introduce compressed gas into the outlet of the filtered liquid
after the filter to expand the filter cloth, allowing impurities in the filter layer, intercepted impurity filter cake, and impurities in the filter cloth gaps
to fall off, and discharge through the lower discharge port. Then wash the filter cloth with hot alkali water to restore the flow filtration capacity of
the filter cloth.
