4. High filtration accuracy: The filtration accuracy of stainless steel filter cartridges is usually above 0.1~200 microns, providing good filtration effect. At the same time, they have good permeability, large pollutant capacity, low initial pressure difference, and less pressure loss.
5. Wide application range: Stainless steel filter cartridges have good chemical compatibility and a wide range of applications, without releasing any substances to pollute the fluid. They are suitable for various industrial and household application scenarios.
In contrast, the main disadvantages of PP cotton filter cartridges are:
1. Regular replacement is required: The PP cotton filter does not support backwashing function and needs to be replaced regularly, which increases the cost of use and the complexity of maintenance work.
2. Low filtration accuracy: Although PP cotton can capture and filter out small impurities with a diameter of up to 5 microns in water, its filtration accuracy is relatively low and not as fine as stainless steel filter cartridges.
In summary, stainless steel filter cartridges are superior to PP cotton filter cartridges in terms of corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, pressure resistance, washability and reuse, filtration accuracy, and applicability. Therefore, when choosing a pre filter cartridge, stainless steel filter cartridges may be a more suitable choice.
